Brittany Girardin
Studio Owner/Director
Miss Britt started dancing at the age of 3 and has not stopped! She spent 15 years training in an award winning studio, winning multiple national titles and overall high score awards. Miss Britt pursued her degree in musical theatre at Florida State University! While performing in shows at FSU, she took her love of tap dance and auditioned for and joined the Seminole Tap Troupe. She trained under world-known choreographers and eventually fell in love with choreography herself. Miss Britt has choreographed over 75 musicals in the last 10 years. She is the resident choreographer at three high schools in Connecticut, as well as two community theatres. She was awarded a professional choreography award in Pensacola, Florida for her work at a local theatre there. Miss Britt is also an actor and singer with a resume’ of over 50 shows, where she acted as dance captain for a majority of them. Miss Britt has a passion for performing and teaching. She spent a semester creating a dance program at a middle school in Tallahassee, Florida for those children who had a love for dance and wanted to continue their education after school. That dance program still lives on today! She has spent the past 15 years as a dance teacher and believes that every person who wants to dance should have the opportunity to do so! Miss Britt’s Academy of Dance is her passion project and she couldn’t be more grateful that this is finally happening!
Rob Girardin
Co-Owner/Acting Instructor
Mr. Rob is a seasoned performer and creative artist! A former third grade teacher, he finds joy in combining his aptitude for education with his passion for performing by teaching children all about the art of theatre. He has been seen on many stages across the state of Connecticut in both professional and community theatre productions. Some of his most notable roles include George Bailey in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” Danny Zuko in “Grease” and Buddy Holly in “The Buddy Holly Story.” In addition, his experience includes acting in award winning short films, music videos and commercials. Rob will be teaching different acting workshops throughout the year, as well as, offering private lessons to prepare actors of all ages for auditions! When Mr. Rob isn’t working as an HR professional, he enjoys reading a good book, watching his favorite shows and spending time at home with his wife... Miss Britt! We are so grateful to have Mr. Rob share his creative experience with our students!
Danielle Eichman
Instructor (Litchfield)
Danielle Eichman has been dancing for almost 35 years and sharing her passion for dance as an instructor and choreographer for the past 18 years. In 2016, she founded Papermoon Performing Arts, a studio that proudly served the community for ten incredible seasons before becoming a second location for Miss Britt’s Academy of Dance.
Throughout her career, Danielle has choreographed for competitive dance studios, and school theatre productions. Her work has earned countless choreography awards, numerous Overall High Score honors at regional dance competitions, and recognition for excellence in choreography across a variety of performance styles. She was also recognized as one of the Northwest Connecticut Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under Forty and has served as a judge for the Connecticut Miss America Organization competitions. Danielle has also coached candidates for local pageants, including interview and modeling, and has judged for local chapters of the Miss America circuit.
One of Danielle’s greatest joys is watching her students grow beyond her classroom. Many former students have gone on to dance professionally, perform on collegiate dance teams and in college dance programs, become successful dance educators, and even open dance studios of their own (like our very own Miss Britt!)
Danielle believes that dance is about far more than learning steps—it is about building confidence, discipline, creativity, resilience, and lifelong friendships. She is honored to continue sharing her love of dance with students of all ages.
Sydney Champagne
Instructor (Litchfield)
Sydney Champagne is a Connecticut-based dancer, choreographer, and educator from New Hartford, CT. She majored in Dance Education with a specialization in entrepreneurship at Central Connecticut State University, and served as president of its contemporary company Dancentral. She is currently a principal member of CT-based contemporary company Garet&Co, where she performs, choreographs, and teaches. Since 2021, she has taught dancers of all ages across CT. Sydney’s teaching emphasizes not only building strong technical foundations but also resilience, empathy, creativity, and self-awareness. She is passionate about building meaningful connections and creating joyful and respectful spaces within every dance community she serves.
Sierra Clark
Instructor (Litchfield)
Miss Sierra began dancing at three years old and spent 14 years in competitive dance, performing in styles such as jazz, lyrical, ballet, and contemporary. After high school she shifted her focus to classical ballet and is currently training as a pre-professional student at The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory. Her time there continues to influence the way she teaches her students. While new to teaching, Sierra has found a strong sense of purpose in creating a positive space for dancers to find their confidence. Sierra is honored to be welcomed to the MBAD team and looks forward to an exciting future!
Emily Frutos Krueger
Ballet Instructor (Berlin and Litchfield)
Emily Frutos Krueger was born and raised near Barcelona, Spain. After moving to the United States, she began her formal ballet training with Mankato Ballet Company in Minnesota under the direction of Eryn Michlitsch and Riley Thomas Weber. She has supplemented her training through summer intensive programs with Kansas City Ballet, Ballet Austin, Ballet Royale Minnesota, and Orlando Ballet. Emily moved to Connecticut to pursue a BFA in Dance with a Ballet Pedagogy emphasis and a minor in Performing Arts Management at the University of Hartford's The Hartt School. During her time at Hartt, she performed in both new and restaged works by José Limón, August Bournonville, Martha Graham, Anna Hughlett, Kristalyn Gill, Danielle Genest, Debra Collins Ryder, and Stephen Pier. Emily graduated in May 2026 and was honored with the 2026 Ballet Pedagogy Excellence Award. Emily's experience in dance education and working with kids includes teaching creative movement, ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz to students ages 2–18. She has completed teaching internships with the University of Hartford’s Community Dance Division and Magnet School, has worked as a Resident Assistant for Orlando Ballet School’s Summer Intensive, and an administrative intern for Joffrey Ballet School in NYC. Emily will be joining Ballet Hartford for their 2026-2027 season. Passionate about dance education, Emily is dedicated to creating meaningful, positive, well-structured learning environments and supporting the next generation of dancers. She looks forward to having a lot of fun with everybody at Miss Britt’s Academy of Dance!
Roz Green
Instructor (Berlin)
Roz started dancing when she was 3 years old, following in the footsteps of her grandmother who was a Radio City Rockette and an actress on Broadway. Due to her mom who passing on her legacy, she grew up loving musical theater dance and has always enjoyed performing on stage. Roz grew up dancing at Papermoon Performing Arts on their supernova dance team (who she gives a big shoutout to!). In the fall, she will be entering her senior year of college at the University of Hartford, and this will also mark her third year on the University Dance Team. This has allowed her to continue her passion for the art of dance. For the University Dance Team, she has choreographed pieces in the styles of hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and ballroom. Working with her friends and getting the opportunity to teach them was so much fun, and it gave her newfound knowledge on teaching and working with other people. Roz is grateful for the amazing experience she's had growing as a choreographer, and now, after dancing for almost 18 years, she is excited to continue to do so at Miss Britts! Thanks for having me!
